What is the North Gwinnett Co-Op?
The largest demographic we serve are children. We work with families to help make sure no child goes hungry. We develop relationships with our Seniors challenged with a fixed income vs their medical/prescription rising bills to make sure they have food and necessary physical and emotional needs met. We are a resource to individuals and families who have experienced a job loss, poor health, or a crisis — providing support to help during critical times.
What is BCNE?
Baptist Churches of New England
Worcester, Massachusetts
Although New England has a rich spiritual heritage, the modern statistics are heart-breaking.
Of the 14.5 million people in New England, around half of them say they are not very religious, and roughly 60% report they seldom or never attend religious services.
Less than 4% of New Englanders are part of an evangelical church. That means there are about three times more atheists and agnostics in New England than evangelical Christians.
The four least religious states in the U.S. (New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Maine) are located in New England, as are five of America’s most post-Christian cities. This isn’t surprising, since almost one in five New England residents say they have no religious affiliation at all.
The Baptist Churches of New England was founded in 1983 as a small network of Southern Baptist churches. Today we are made up of more than 365 churches located across Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
BCNE churches are extremely diverse. Our members include both some of the oldest churches in the country and brand-new church plants. We have churches with Southern Baptist roots, as well as churches that have joined us from a non-denominational background or another evangelical denomination. Forty percent of our churches are non-Anglo, and churches from around our convention worship in almost 20 different languages every week.
Despite our outward differences, we are united in the things that matter most: our evangelical Christian beliefs as expressed in The Baptist Faith and Message, a love for New We believe that we’re stronger when we work together!
The Church on Seven Hills began as a prayer group in 2012 in the home of Andy & Amy Haynes and was “officially” launched as a church plant in May 2013. The Church on Seven Hills merged with Burncoat Baptist Church, which allowed them to have their current facility. Andy, who had been serving in collegiate ministry in the city of Worcester, was called to serve as pastor in February 2020. The church is evangelistically active in the community, on college campuses, and in church planting.
FBC Marlborough is a church that has been in existence since 1868. As a church that was dying and quickly heading towards their doors closing, God connect this church of 10 with a church planter, Logan Loveday. Logan and his family had moved to Marlborough in 2017 to plant a church. Through an amazing work of the Lord, the Loveday’s church plant and FBC Marlborough merged into one congregation. Now, the church is experiecning growth and baptisms with a congregation of 85-90 people.
City of Light is a church plant that operates within a skate park. Because the weather is New England is harsh during the Winter months, a skate park provides a wonderful way for residents to enjoy skating indoors. Vessel Skate Park was birthed as a way to reach the skating community with the gospel.
Frontier Tribal Missions
What is Frontier Tribal Missions?
Frontier Tribal Missions exists as an organization to send the Hayes family as full-time missionaries to Peru with the goal of planting a Bible-believing, Christ-exalting church among an isolated and unreached people group known as the Akawa people who live deep in the Peruvian Amazon Jungle.
Learn about the Hayes Family
Scotty & Jadison Hayes followed the call of God on their lives to leave the comfort of their ministry position at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Blackshear, GA and move to Peru to live and serve the Akawa people. Scotty, Jadison, and their four boys, who are all under the age of 12, began the journey to live in the country of Peru. After months of language school in Costa Rica, they “officially” moved to the region of Esperanza in January 2022.
